About

Xval

Xval is a for-profit company committed to delivering you the best possible actuarial modeling system.

Actuaries use modeling systems. You have to in order to keep up. But there is a major gap in the existing suite of tools. The current market leaders have a selfish goal. They want to own your models. They want you locked-in. They can't let you understand your models, because then you could leave.

Our goal is the opposite. You should understand your models. You should know what they do, how to explain them, and how to change them. And you should be able to leave us if we fail to deliver on quality.

We would rather sleep well at night than "earn" recurring revenue by forcing you to use awful software.

Mission

Xval's mission is to deliver software that gives you the power to build, understand, and control your models. Such software must be performant, robust, and fun-to-use.
